Okay, let’s dive right in with something that might surprise you: abundance is a mindset, not a bank balance
I know, I know. It sounds like one of those things people say when they already have money. But stay with me, because this is the foundation of everything when it comes to manifesting money. If you skip this step, you’ll be pouring water into a bucket with holes in it.
Abundance Isn’t a Number
Think about the people you know. Have you ever met someone who earns a really comfortable salary, and who still talks like they’re one bad month away from disaster? Always stressed, always counting, always convinced there’s “never enough”?
Now think of the opposite: someone with a modest income who somehow always feels taken care of. They enjoy their coffee, they treat themselves to little joys, they trust that things will work out. And weirdly… things often do.
Here’s the twist: the feeling of “poverty” can follow you up the income ladder. Plenty of people earn more than you and feel just as “poor” as you do. And guess what usually happens to them? They stay exactly where they are. Their income doesn’t grow, or it grows and disappears just as fast, because the inner setup hasn’t changed. Their subconscious is still running the same old program: money is scarce, money is hard to get, money is never enough.
Grab a pen and a sticky note, because this one deserves a spot on your mirror:
You may be broke financially, but your life can still feel abundant.
And honestly? That’s NOT toxic positivity. It’s strategy. When you shift into a feeling of abundance, you start noticing opportunities, making bolder choices, and carrying an energy of “I’m open to receiving.” That’s the energy money responds to.
Before you start manifesting money (and we will get there, I promise!), it’s essential to work on your beliefs about money first. And learning to feel abundant right now, exactly where you are, is honestly one of the best first steps you can take. Let’s dive in.

Step 1: What Does Abundance Mean to You?
Don’t rush past this one. Give yourself a minute to answer it for real:
What does abundance mean to you?
Not what Instagram says. Not what your parents said. Not what the “hustle culture” gurus scream about. You.
For one person, abundance is a huge house with a pool. For another, it’s being able to say yes to a spontaneous weekend trip with friends (personnaly, one of my favorite! 😀). For someone else, it’s a fridge full of fresh food, a slow morning with no alarm, or never having to check the price before ordering at a restaurant.
There’s no wrong answer. But you need to know yours, because your subconscious can’t chase a target it can’t see.
Grab a notebook and answer these questions (be messy, be honest, be greedy! Remember : everything you want already exist!) :
- What would my ideal Tuesday look like if money were not a stressor?
- What would I do more of? What would I stop doing?
- How would I feel in my body? Lighter? Calmer? Free?
- What would I be able to give to the people I love?
- What small things make me feel rich right now, even if they cost nothing?
That last one is sneaky-powerful. Maybe it’s your favorite candle, the sun coming through the window, a playlist that makes you feel like the main character, your favorite meal. Write it all down. These are your abundance anchors.
Step 2: Make a Vision Board (And Make It Fun!)

Okay, this is where I get really excited, because vision boards are basically a permission slip to daydream on purpose!
A vision board is a collage of images, words, and symbols that represent the life you’re calling in. You can make one:
- The old-school way: magazines, scissors, glue, a big piece of cardboard, and your favorite music.
- The digital way: Pinterest, Canva, or even a folder on your phone that you set as your wallpaper.
(P.S. There’s an app called Manifestation Bank that simulates a bank account with the amount you’d have if you were rich. You can make deposits and transactions, and it even has a vision board section where you can save all your favorite photos. So fun! 🎉)
A few tips to make it actually work, rather than just look pretty:
1. Start with feelings, not just things. Instead of only putting a luxury car, add images that capture how you want to feel: peaceful, free, celebrated, safe, generous.
2. Be specific. “More money” is vague. A cozy apartment with big windows and plants in every corner? A business that lets you work from anywhere? A savings account with a number that makes you exhale? Now we’re talking.
3. Include the everyday. Abundance isn’t only yachts and private jets. Add a beautiful breakfast spread, a spa day, a bookshelf overflowing with books, a girls’ trip.
4. Put it where you’ll see it. A vision board hidden in a drawer is just cardboard. Hang it by your desk, next to your bed, or make it your phone lock screen.
5. Spend time with it. Two minutes each morning, look at it and let yourself imagine being there. Make it a daily habit! That’s how it really sinks into your subconscious. Not “someday,” but as if it’s already unfolding.
Which brings me to the next point, and it’s a big one.
Step 3: Feel the Feeling of Being Rich (Every. Single. Day.)
Here’s the part most people skip: you don’t wait to feel rich once the money arrives. You feel rich first, and let the outer world catch up.
The catch? At first, it’s going to feel weird. Maybe even fake. Maybe you’ll feel a little silly, or a little guilty, or you’ll hear a nasty voice saying, “Who do you think you are?”
That’s completely normal! And here’s why: your nervous system likes what’s familiar, not necessarily what’s good for you. If you’ve spent years (or decades) feeling stressed about money, then “stress about money” is your comfort zone. Feeling calm and abundant is unfamiliar territory, and your brain will read unfamiliar as unsafe.
So we practice, like a muscle. Some easy ways to start:
- The morning check-in. Before you grab your phone, close your eyes for 60 seconds and imagine a day in your abundant life. Feel it in your chest. Let a little smile happen.
- Rich-girl moments on a budget. Light the nice candle. Use the good mug. Wear the outfit you’ve been “saving for later.” Put on music and walk into the grocery store like you own the place. Small luxuries tell your subconscious, “Yes, this is who we are.”
- Gratitude, but make it juicy. Not just “I’m grateful for my health,” but actually feeling it: “I love how warm this shower is. I love that I have a roof over my head. I love that I get to pick what I eat today.” Gratitude is the fast lane to feeling abundant.
- Act as if. Ask yourself, “What would an abundant woman do right now?” She’d probably take a breath, trust the process, and not panic-scroll her bank app at 2 a.m. Be her, even for five minutes.
Give it a few weeks. What felt weird slowly becomes your new normal. And once it’s your new normal? That’s when the magic begins. ✨
Step 4: Change Your Money Mindset
Now let’s go a little deeper. Because feeling abundant is amazing, but if you have hidden beliefs quietly sabotaging you in the background, they’ll keep pulling you back to your old level.
These are called money blocks, and we all have them. Even the people who seem super confident about money.
Getting Rid of Money Blocks
A money block is a limiting belief, usually planted in childhood and buried in your subconscious, that tells you something negative about money. You might not even realize it’s there. It just quietly runs the show.
Have you ever heard (or thought) any of these?
- “Money doesn’t grow on trees.”
- “Rich people are greedy or selfish.”
- “We’re not the kind of family that has money.”
- “Money is the root of all evil.”
- “I have to work really hard to earn a living.”
- “If I earn more, people will judge me or expect things from me.”
- “Good people don’t care about money.”
Sound familiar? Now ask yourself: if I secretly believe that rich people are bad, why on earth would my subconscious let me become one? Your brain is protective. It’ll keep you “safe” by keeping you small, unless you rewrite the script.
How to find your own blocks:
- Notice your reactions. When you see an expensive price tag, someone else’s success, or a big number, what’s the first thought or feeling that pops up? Jealousy? Guilt? Fear? Write it down. That’s a clue.
- Remember what you heard growing up. What did the adults around you say about money? How did they act around it? Stressed? Secretive? Fighting about it?
- Finish the sentence. Journal on prompts like: “Money is…” “Rich people are…” “If I had lots of money, I would be afraid that…” Don’t filter. Let the ugly truth out. It can’t heal until you see it.
Once you’ve spotted a block, flip it into a new, empowering belief:
| Old belief | New belief |
| Money is hard to get | Money flows to me in easy, unexpected ways |
| Rich people are greedy | Money makes good people more generous |
| I don’t deserve abundance | I am worthy of a beautiful, comfortable life |
| There’s never enough | There is plenty, and I am open to receiving it |
Say them out loud. Write them on sticky notes. Whisper them in the shower. It might feel silly at first, but repetition is how beliefs get rewired.
Stop Putting Money on a Pedestal
This one is a game-changer, and I think it’s the most overlooked piece of the whole puzzle.
Many of us treat money like it’s some sacred, mysterious, unreachable thing. We get nervous around it. We idolize it. We speak about it in hushed tones, like it’s a celebrity we could never meet.
And the more we put money on a pedestal, the further away it feels.
Here’s the shift: in your subconscious, money should be as ordinary as water.
Think about it. When you’re thirsty, you turn on the tap, and water comes out. You don’t panic. You don’t wonder if there’ll be enough. You don’t feel guilty for using it. You don’t hoard it in fear of tomorrow. It’s just… there. Normal. Available. Flowing.
That’s exactly how people with a lot of money relate to money. It’s not a big emotional event. It’s a tool, a resource, a flow. It comes in, it goes out, and more comes in again.
So how do you knock money off its pedestal and make it feel totally normal?
- Talk about it casually. Say the word “money” without lowering your voice. Talk about prices, income, and goals with friends. The more normal it feels, the less charged it becomes.
- Drop the drama. Notice the words you use. “I can’t afford it” is heavy. Try “That’s not a priority right now” or “How can I make room for that?” Your brain is a problem-solver, so give it good questions!
- Look at money as energy. It’s a form of exchange, of value, of support. It’s neutral. What you do with it, and how you feel about it, gives it meaning.
- Spend consciously, not fearfully. Every time you buy something with joy and gratitude, you’re telling your subconscious that money comes and goes freely, and that it’s safe.
When money stops being a big deal in your mind, it stops being hard to get. Funny how that works.
Step 5: How to Convince Yourself You’re Rich
Okay, now for the million-dollar question (pun intended): how do you actually get your subconscious to believe you’re rich when your bank account says otherwise?
Here’s the good news. You weren’t born believing you were poor. You were taught to believe it. Little by little, through overheard conversations, family stress, school, media, and your own experiences, you were conditioned into a certain story about money.
If you were conditioned into “I’m not rich,” you can be reconditioned into “I am abundant.”
And the way we do it is exactly the same way it got in there: repetition, emotion, and imagery, straight into the subconscious.
Here’s your toolkit:
1. Affirmations (that you can actually believe)
Affirmations work best when they feel like a stretch, not a lie. If “I’m a millionaire” makes your whole body say nope, start softer:
- “I am open to receiving more money.”
- “Money comes to me easily and often.”
- “I am becoming someone who is great with money.”
- “I always have enough, and more is on its way.”
Say them in the morning, when your brain is still in that dreamy, suggestible state. Say them while looking yourself in the eyes in the mirror (awkward? Absolutely. Powerful? Also yes).
2. Visualization
Spend 5 to 10 minutes a day picturing your abundant life in full sensory detail. What do you see? Hear? Smell? How does your body feel? The subconscious can’t fully tell the difference between a vivid imagined experience and a real one, which is why this works so well.
3. Subliminals, hypnosis, and meditations
Many people love listening to money mindset meditations or affirmation tracks while they fall asleep, get ready, or clean the house. It’s an easy way to keep feeding your subconscious without adding another task to your to-do list.
4. Evidence collecting
Start a “proof” list. Every time money shows up in any form (a discount, a free coffee, an unexpected refund, a gift, a compliment that leads to an opportunity), write it down. Your brain has a filter for what it notices, and you’re training it to spot abundance instead of scarcity.
5. Environment upgrade
Who and what are you surrounding yourself with? If your feed is full of doom and “the economy is terrible,” your subconscious is soaking that in daily ( I personally stopped keeping up with the news). Follow people who talk about growth, possibility, and wealth in a healthy way. Read books about money. Listen to podcasts that expand your thinking.
6. Consistency over intensity
You won’t rewire decades of conditioning in one weekend. But 10 minutes a day, every day, will do more than a giant burst of effort once a month. Think of it like brushing your teeth: small, boring, and life-changing over time.
A Little Reality Check (Because I Love You 🩷)
Let me be clear about something. Feeling abundant doesn’t mean ignoring your real life or pretending bills don’t exist. Manifestation isn’t a substitute for action, it’s the fuel for action.
You can (and should!):
- Track your spending so you know where you stand.
- Build skills and take opportunities when they show up.
- Set financial goals and take small, inspired steps toward them.
- Ask for that raise, launch that idea, or start that side project.
The mindset work makes you ready to receive. The action makes you available to receive. You need both.
Conclusion: Abundance Starts With You, Today
If there’s one thing I hope you take from this, it’s this: you don’t have to wait for the money to arrive to start living abundantly. You get to choose, right now, how you relate to your life and to money.
Let’s recap your abundance game plan:
- Define what abundance means to you. Get crystal clear.
- Create a vision board and spend time with it daily.
- Practice feeling rich, even when it feels strange at first.
- Release your money blocks and rewrite your beliefs.
- Take money off the pedestal. Let it be as normal as water. (Because it is !!)
- Reprogram your subconscious with affirmations, visualization, and consistency.
You were conditioned to believe you’re “not rich.” Now you get to decondition that story and write a new one, on purpose, with joy.
You may be broke financially, but your life can still feel abundant, and that feeling is the doorway to everything else.
So tell me: what does abundance look like for you? Drop it in the comments, I’d love to hear! And if this post lit a little spark, share it with a girlfriend who needs to hear it today. 💛
